Localization

Localization refers to the method of identifying the physical position of the active device, or user, in 2D or 3D space in context of the environment (e.g. Earth's surface). It can further be divided into Indoor and Outdoor positioning/localization, which requires often different combination of technologies (i.e. sensors).
