Summary

This typst package includes templates for TUM theses and dissertations. It also offers some functionality to simplify the compilation of chapters as standalone documents, format listings, algorithms, and captions. I also put effort into establishing sensible defaults (i.e., nice captions, chapter headers, and outlines for different elements), while at the same time leaving room for customization (e.g., choosing which outlines are displayed).

There is at least another package targeted to TUM theses (see exzellenz-tum-thesis), but:

1. It doesn't seem to compile out of the box with typst 0.14.2
2. It does not offer dissertation templates (which can have variations from a normal thesis, especially on the title page)
3. The GitHub repository of that project is not available anymore (to the best of my knowledge)

I have read and followed the submission guidelines and, in particular, I

• selected a name that isn't the most obvious or canonical name for what the package does
• added a typst.toml file with all required keys
• added a README.md with documentation for my package
• have chosen a license and added a LICENSE file or linked one in my README.md
• tested my package locally on my system and it worked
• excluded PDFs or README images, if any, but not the LICENSE

• ensured that my package is licensed such that users can use and distribute the contents of its template directory without restriction, after modifying them through normal use.
