This is an updated forked version of diladele's installer.
It provides a MSI Windows Installer for Squid Proxy Server.
Current build is based on the latest Squid 7.4 build for Cygwin Windows 64 bit.
Squid is a caching proxy for the Web supporting HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, and more. It reduces bandwidth and improves response times by caching and reusing frequently-requested web pages. Squid has extensive access controls and makes a great server accelerator. It runs on most available operating systems, including Windows and is licensed under the GNU GPL. http://www.squid-cache.org

- Run it and click "Next" button till squid is installed as a service, than configure your browser proxy to point to localhost port 3128
Note of Caution Squid proxy when hosted locally on a windows machine is not compatible with ad-blocker extension: ublock Origins's "Block Outsider Intrusion into LAN" filter, it must be turned off for the proxy to render website content correctly.
