As we have the SDK as a dep in a project I maintain being stuck on pytest <9 was causing issues. The SDK doesn't use any special functionality that I can tell requiring pytest be stuck below 9 (and I've validated tests are still successful via actions and some manual runs of different pytest versions within this constraint).
It'd be much appreciated if this could be merged
