This PR follow (and include) PR #2.
Migrate current tests to namespaced PHPUnit, introducing support for versions from 5 to 8, dropping support for PHP 5.5 (EOL 21 Jul 2016, over 7 years ago) and PHPUnit 4.8 (EOL 3 February 2017, over 6 years ago).
New requirements are PHP 5.6+ and PHPUnit 5.x - 8.x.
