Some notes on what was accomplished:
First I forked the main repo from the final git hub, I then added it to the submission page. I edited the needed files for information. I then started making the make file. It took a little while but I got it done and I added some informational comments to the makefile. I ran this "rm -f *.o && make" and it finally compiled! And now I am creating the pull request.
