## About Me
My name is **Arunkumar Akilan**. I am currently learning software development and improving my skills in Git, GitHub, and programming with Code Your Future.

## Favourite Sport
My favourite sport is **cricket** because it is a very popular sport in India.
Most Indian children grow up playing and watching cricket, and many of them admire famous cricketers as their idols.

## Favourite Food
My favourite food is **mutton curry prepared by my mom**.
I like it because it is very tasty and it reminds me of home.

## Interesting Fact About Me
I had **14 arrears** in my engineering course at the end of my 3rd year.
At the start of my 4th year, someone asked me sarcastically whether I could clear all of them, and that moment motivated me strongly.

I decided to change my approach completely. I created my **own timetable**, studied consistently, and worked hard on all **14 subjects**. As a result, I cleared all **14 papers by the 7th semester** and successfully attended my graduation — along with the same person who doubted me.

The reason I had arrears was because I studied **ECE due to my parents’ choice**, while my real interest has always been in **CSE and IT**. Once I focused on what I truly wanted, I proved to myself that discipline and determination can overcome any challenge.
