Posts
This is a guide to creating and editing posts.
You can write your posts locally and then push them with Git, or you can write them in your browser using prose.io. There's an alternate version of this guide, using prose.io.
Posts can be found in the _posts directory and must have a specific file name in order to ensures that they will also be sorted chronologically when sorted alphabetically.
yyyy-mm-dd-post-title.md
For example, if you write a post about firebase tricks on the 3rd December, 2015, then you would name your post 2015-12-03-firebase-tricks.md.
You'll also need the following front-matter at the top of your post.
---
layout: post
title: Your Full Post Title
---
This lets jekyll know the proper title and that it should use the post template.
The rest of the file will be the main body of the post, where you will write your markdown content.
