Missing API methods

Inside the API, which looks autogenerated, there are quite a few methods that are on the actual API (http://developer.wordnik.com) but missing inside the Python interface:

http://developer.wordnik.com/docs#!/word/get_etymologies

Does it need to be regenerated?

You're right, we do need to regenerate this client. Sorry for the staleness, it will be refreshed soon.
