Auth Scopes Issues

While the app is already set up in the Uber dashboard and testing under our Uber account, why do we still receive an invalid scope when authenticating and choosing the following scopes other than 'offline_access'? 

Invalid scopes response for:
['profile',
'requests',
'history',
etc]
