I use mapbox on expo, specifically local prebuilds, no EAS.
⚠️ WARNING: RNMapboxMapsDownloadToken is deprecated. Use RNMAPBOX_MAPS_DOWNLOAD_TOKEN environment variable instead. ⚠️ WARNING: This token will be part of your gradle.properties. Be careful about committing it to source control. After updating my dependencies this warning started to popup, and simply reading the warning I could not figure out what to actually do. I set my token as an env variable, with the same name, but nothing, still error. I then tried many other things, but simply nothing is working and I can't find any documentation on how I am actually supposed to cope with the change as a local prebuild expo user.
I read somewhere something about it being EAS related, but as I don't use EAS, does this mean I simply can't use mapbox anymore?
I'm sure the fix is easy but scouring the docs I was not able to find anywhere what to actually do, I even found the issue from 2 weeks ago where this was implemented but even there, there was no extra info. Please help me.
