Ship a Kafka Adapter with 2020

It will be great to have a Kafka adapter built in BizTalk. More and more enterprises are using Kafka as their messaging engine and BizTalk is missing out a lot. I started with adapter development myself and completed send side of it. Still to finish up Receive. Coming it right out of the box adapter will be great.

How did you solve your needs for BizTalk to subscribe (and produce) to Kafka topics? 3rd party adapter?

Agree this should be built-in to BizTalk. Kafka is growing steadly fast, making BizTalk prematurably old. Using BizTalk on-premise today will most probably be replaced by other on-premise integration platforms, not Azure Logic Apps or such.

We built our own adapter. And long term we are moving away from BizTalk too looking at its future roadmap. This adapter we haven't open sourced yet but may consider it
