bug: <ion-content> with scrollY="false" becomes scrollable when I interact with a <ion-range> inside the content #30952

@jbgtmartin

Description

@jbgtmartin

Prerequisites

Ionic Framework Version

v8.x

Current Behavior

I have a <ion-content> with scrollY="false". Inside, there is a <ion-range>. When the content is higher than <ion-content>'s height, it's hidden (as expected with scrollY="false").

But if I move the slider, then the content becomes scrollable.

You can see it in this video:

Expected Behavior

<ion-content> should never be scrollable when scrollY="false"

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Clone https://gitlab.com/jbgtmartin/ionic-ion-content-scroll-issue
  2. Start the app with yarn start
  3. Move the slider
  4. Scroll the content
