Feature Description

Using PAT for plugin can problematic as PAT will expire in 1 year and is more suceptible to accidentally leaking. Could you consider adding oauth support.

I'm happy to review a PR like this, but frankly it's not something I've got set up or would be willing to "test" per-se, so if you guys have an oAuth through Gitlab configured and are willing to do the legwork there it's something I'd be fine to merge in.
