Weird behaviour between latest stable (6.2.2) and nightly

for some weird reason when I build 6.2.2, it doesn't launch due to Data folder not being found by the game. And when I build project from nightly it does launch but my mouse doesn't work ingame (it works in menus but it doesn't work when it comes to looking)

For the latter, have you made sure that Player 1 (or whichever you pick) has keyboard+mouse assigned and sane controls configured? See if it's also set to only allow a specific mouse. If unsure, press "Reset" and try again?

keyboard + mouse is enabled, tho I'm a bit unsure about sane controls. is it a launch option cause I don't see it in settings? Also, from what I noticed at least, game doesn't capture my mouse at all when in game (as in, it doesn't lock the mouse to the game window, RMB and LMB do work)

I meant the input settings in the main menu in the game; just check that your mouse sensitivity is a sane value (I think 60 is default) and you have "Fire/Activate" bound to "[Mouse Left]" and "Pie Menu (Analog)" to "[Mouse Right]"

Oh, yeah, they're set to their default values. Mouse buttons do work, the only problem is that the mouse isn't captured by game when in game mode I guess

Funky! What's your OS exactly? Have you finished all system updates? If you're not on Windows, just as a curiosity, might it work to try the Windows version through WINE?

(I probably can't help you personally either way, but I believe these questions are important to know answers to for anyone who'd want to help you here lol)
