Can't overlay anything, game thinks it's still in exclusive fullscreen mode.

My friend made and uploaded a modpack for a server he made and I'd like to use a picture-in-picture feature my browser has to watch YT as I play the game. We're using Modrinth as the launcher, and I am unsure how to disable exclusive fullscreen if at all possible.
