Description
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
-
For the Student: "As a student, I want to see which parts of a lesson are most replayed by others, so I can quickly identify and focus my attention on the most important or challenging concepts."
-
For 100x devs: "As the instructor, I want to see analytics on which segments of my videos are most replayed, so I can understand what topics students are struggling with and improve my teaching content."
Describe the solution you'd like
Implement a "heatmap" or "intensity graph" directly on the video player's seek bar. This graph will visually represent the collective replay rate of all students for every moment in the video.
Taller peaks in the graph will signify "Key Concepts"—areas that students frequently revisit. This serves two purposes:
- It guides current students to the most crucial parts of the lesson.
- It provides 100x devs with direct, data-driven feedback on his course material.
Acceptance Criteria:
- A visual graph is overlaid on the video player's timeline.
- The graph's peaks accurately correspond to the most replayed timestamps in a lesson.
- The feature is enabled by default for all students.
- The data collection process is anonymous and does not impact video performance.
