File content from RAW data

Hello,

I recently downloaded raw data from Clarius Cloud from an acquisition made with Color Doppler mode. Before, I used to download iq.raw, iq.yml, env.raw, env,yml files. Now, the formats seem to have changed:

I am using the pycaster in my laptop to be able to change the PRF, and I noticed that everytime I connect to the clarius with CAST, the RF Streaming icon automatically appears, without engaging RF mode and it doesn't seem to go away. I went through the files and noticed a new cfi file format, also the IQ data seems to be stored in the rf.raw file. Could you please confirm if the IQ data is actually being downloaded there or is there something else I should know about this to download the data correctly?

looks like we're just naming the RF file wrong, we will correct. If you open the YML, you'll see it specifies IQ as the format. CFI file is the actual Doppler pixel data run through WF/AC

Does the velocity data encoded in the .cfi.raw files represent raw axial velocity components (i.e., along the ultrasound beam), or has it been angle-corrected internally (e.g., assuming a standard or measured beam-to-flow angle)?

Any insights into how angle correction is handled — or recommendations on how to handle it manually if needed — would be greatly appreciated.

When in Color Doppler mode, what angle does the device assume for calculating and displaying the velocity (in the color map)?

In Color Doppler, there is no correction angle applied like spectral, so 0 degrees

Thanks for your response. One more thing, what information does the PW Doppler raw data provide? We are trying to align the information from the PW Doppler to Color Doppler. After acquisition, is it possible to add measurements to the waveform?

PW Doppler raw data right now is the non-interpolated grayscale spectrum post FFT
In the App, captures can be measured upon in the review page
