What is the source of the DESCRIPTION field in the $SYSTEM.DBSCHEMA_CATALOGS

I am building out a PBI Inventory dataset with all of the possible metadata of the datasets that my team is responsible for. I would like to add a field with a one liner description of each dataset. I found the DESCRIPTION field in the $SYSTEM.DBSCHEMA_CATALOGS, which I thought was sourced from "Semantic model description" in PBI Services but it is not. Do you know what is the source of that data on the front-end? Or if there is a better way of pulling a dataset description.
