[Feature Request] Left side menu expanded by default configuration property

Hey there,

According to https://www.itb.ec.europa.eu/docs/itb-ta/latest/navigate/index.html#using-the-menu it seems like there is no way to make it so that the left side menu is expanded by default for all users. I was wondering if it would be possible to make this a setting either as en environment variable or preferably as a setting inside System administration?

Hi @olw-medcom - interesting request. We could indeed foresee such system-wide options that are more relating to user experience. For example we recently had another request to be able to present by default less details when viewing a conformance statement (i.e., focus only on the test cases). I'll add this to our backlog.

Note that eventually we will likely support persistent user preferences in the ITB. This feature we are discussing could act as the source of the system-wide default settings that the user could choose to override.

Ahh yes persistent user preferences in the ITB would also work!

Regarding the less details when viewing a conformance statement, I understand that request, I think we would also utilize such a feature if it was possible 😊
