GitHub Copilot supports custom agents. Custom agents are specialized versions of coding agent that you can tailor to your unique workflows, coding conventions, and use cases. I think having that will be more useful than custom prompts since you can configure conventions, frameworks, and desired outcomes directly into Copilot.
I am pitching this mainly because with custom agents you can assign GitHub issues to the custom copilot agent directly, and based on your instructions it can use PR comments as the interactive chat panel without requiring an IDE.
